About the Role

• Responsible for overseeing the financial integrity & contractual obligations of assigned projects
• Work closely with Project Managers to provide financial insight & reporting on the performance of projects
• Distributes monthly reporting tool for capturing project forecast updates, tracks and reviews the returns and ensures the changes noted are in line with the comments provided. Any material improvements/erosions are to be notified to the Senior Project Accounting Manager prior to month end
• Month End – Reviews the WIP Report for accuracy, reporting, analysis and variance explanation for projects.
• Complexity and volume includes joint ventures, reporting in currencies other than domestic, major frameworks and multiple contracts
• Assists with audit requests
• Ability to analyse & interpret data
• Work to tight deadlines and self-audit of own work
• Team player, self-motivated, approachable and good communicator
• Intermediate Excel

You should possess and be able to demonstrate the following qualifications, skills and knowledge:

• 2+ years related experience
• Industry knowledge not essential
• Basic knowledge of Power Query Editor (Excel)
• Basic knowledge of percent complete accounting
• Intermediate technical accounting knowledge
