Job summary

KinTO-UK Ltd in Portsmouth is seeking an experienced Project Accountant on a six-month contract to deliver robust financial reporting and drive improvements in internal controls. You will redesign monthly management accounts, VAT, treasury and cashflow reporting, and lease-related calculations.

The role requires ACCA/CIMA qualifications, extensive finance experience, and advanced Excel/PowerPoint skills, with exposure to leasing environments and external audits.

Qualifications

• Qualified ACCA/CIMA accountant with professional membership.
• Extensive experience in a finance or management accounting role.
• Strong technical accounting background, ideally in a leasing environment.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Demonstrable experience in forecasting, budgeting, and reporting.

We are looking for an experienced Project Accountant to join our Finance Department working on a six-month contract basis.

The role in a nutshell:

The Project Accountant plays a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting. This role is responsible for ensuring robust financial controls, improving internal processes, and providing strategic financial insights. The successful candidate will drive continuous improvement and supporting the company's financial health.

A bit about the Finance Department:

The Finance Department is responsible for maintaining the financial health of the business, ensuring effective risk management, financial reporting, and credit control. The team supports strategic decision-making through accurate forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis.

What you'll be doing:

Requirements

Essential:

• Please note that all KINTO-UK Ltd employees are required to undergo and successfully obtain Enhanced Security Clearance. These checks include verification of employment history, family background, and financial records.

Key Experience & Skills:

• Qualified ACCA/CIMA accountant
• Extensive experience in a finance or management accounting role
• Strong technical accounting background, ideally in a leasing environment
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Demonstrable experience in financial forecasting, budgeting, and reporting

Desirable:

• Experience working in an FCA-regulated environment
• Experience using SAP and Sofico Miles
• Knowledge of technical leasing accounting
• 3-5 years PQE
