The Green Recruitment is partnering with a leading Renewable Energy Investment Manager. They are looking to hire a Chartered Accountant with experience in Commerce and Industry, specifically within the renewable energy asset management sector. The role is based in Glasgow.

Responsibilities:

1. Deliver lender and financial reporting requirements for the portfolio.
2. Own key balance sheet lines, reconciliations, and processes.
3. Take ownership of year-end reporting.
4. Generate annual budgets for the portfolio SPVs.
5. Provide high-quality monthly and ad-hoc reports to wider teams using Power BI and presentations.
6. Analyze portfolio companies as required.
7. Develop an in-depth understanding of the assets.
8. Liaise with technical, operations, and data teams to provide high-quality commentary on portfolio performance.
9. Understand financial models, including valuation and debt reporting models.
10. Extract data from inherited financial models.

Requirements:

• Chartered Accountant with relevant experience in asset management, preferably in the energy sector.
• Knowledge and experience with Excel and Power BI preferred.
• Prior experience in lender and debt reporting.
