Siemens Rail Electrification powers electric trains, trams, and metros worldwide by designing, installing, and maintaining all the necessary equipment, like substations and overhead lines. Their work ensures these vehicles get the electricity they need to run safely and efficiently, supporting modern electric transport and helping to reduce its environmental impact.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Accountant to join our team in the Midlands! Reporting to the Regional Finance Manager (Rail Electrification), you will play a key role rail electrification projects, supporting the delivery of a large rail electrification project.
In this role you will be responsible for the project accounting management of several projects within the TRU East portfolio, enabling effective cost control and ensuring the provision of key management information to the project team.
This role supports hybrid working with 2-3 days in the office per week.
Your role profile may vary from time to time in accordance with business needs. Your annual objective setting with your line manager will outline any additional responsibilities required to meet business or individual development needs for the forthcoming financial year.
