Project Accountant (Architecture & Interior Design Sector) £55,000-65,000p.a. London | Office based

We are seeking a Project Accountant for a key role with a global architectural and design firm. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised and detail-oriented professional to manage the financial aspects of complex projects. This role requires fluency in French as it involves collaboration with international offices. Travel to France is required approximately once a month.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform core accounting functions including time and expense reporting, client invoicing, accounts receivable, and collections.
  • Conduct financial analysis, including monthly financial and operational reporting, and provide ad-hoc analysis to support executive decision-making.
  • Support annual operations planning, budgeting, and variance analysis.
  • Maintain clear communication with project teams and other studios to ensure seamless project coordination.
  • Ensure timely and accurate client invoicing and collections, resolving outstanding issues as needed.
  • Review executed agreements to ensure adherence to financial terms and client requirements.
  • Set up and maintain projects within the ERP system.

Skills & Proficiencies:

  • Strong analytical, organisational, and time management skills with a high degree of accuracy and precision.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as Deltek and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with international operations is an advantage.
