Responsibilities

  • Manage handover and transition of core finance duties.
  • Deliver monthly group reporting and assist with external audit queries.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and working capital analysis.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial submissions and KPI tracking.
  • Identify process improvements and contribute to ongoing efficiency projects.

Are you a qualified accountant with strong financial reporting and project experience? This is a fantastic interim opportunity to support a busy finance function through a period of transition, with involvement in high-level reporting, forecasting, and project work.

About the role

This interim finance opportunity offers the chance to step into a senior role supporting a complex set of operations. You'll work closely with senior finance leaders to support group reporting, project delivery, and financial planning. The role requires strong technical expertise and the ability to drive process improvements.

This is an initial 6-month contract that will play an important role in a large group setting. To be considered, you must be available at short notice (4-week notice periods are acceptable) and have a can-do attitude to meet the expectations of this position.

About you

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with 3+ years PQE
  • Strong background in financial reporting and audit support
  • Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills
  • Able to engage senior stakeholders and manage change effectively
  • Experience with SAP and in complex or regulated industries (desirable)
