Job summary

University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust is seeking two Pharmacy Technicians (Band 4-5) to join the Medicines Management Team at Southampton General Hospital. The Medicines Management Team is seeking two Pharmacy Technicians, or soon to be qualified Pharmacy Technician to join the team on a progressive Band 4-5 contract where we will support the continued development of services across the Medicine Care Group. Following the recent expansion of our roles to include Near Patient Dispensing and patient counselling on steroid management, we are looking to recruit enthusiastic individuals to join our growing team .We would also welcome applications from those already operating at a Band 5 level who are ready to seamlessly slot into the team at a Senior Pharmacy Technician level.

As part of a supportive and dynamic service, you will work directly with patients to improve outcomes and facilitate patient flow. This is a fast-paced and challenging role, offering excellent opportunities to make a meaningful impact while developing your skills within a rewarding clinical environment.
