An established industry player is seeking dedicated Progress Coaches to inspire and support learners at Cardiff and Vale College. This role involves guiding students through their educational journey, addressing their concerns, and ensuring they are prepared for future opportunities. As a Progress Coach, you will play a vital role in fostering a positive learning environment and delivering impactful personal development sessions. Job Title: Progress Coach
Contract: Term Time Only, Fixed Term until July 2025
Hours: 37 hours per week, 38 weeks per year
Salary: £24,544.39 per annum (Based on a FTE salary of £28,383)
Several exciting opportunities are now available at Cardiff and Vale College for Progress Coaches to begin at the start of the 2024-2025 Academic Year. Our Progress Coaches are responsible for supporting learners in a pastoral role, supporting target setting, motivation, and attitude to learning; supporting the personal learner journey.
Additionally, you will:
Specifically, we are looking for Progress Coaches who can demonstrate enthusiasm and passion for supporting learners within the following departments: Hair Beauty & Hospitality, Aerospace, Construction, Engineering and Automotive. In your supporting statement, you should outline how you can support learners in one or more of these areas.
You will embrace our CAVC values and be Inspirational, Inclusive, and Influential towards our learners, colleagues, and partners.
Whilst the ability to speak Welsh is not essential for the role, we would love to hear from candidates who are fluent and can engage with learners through the medium of Welsh.
