A UK educational institution is seeking a Progress Coach to provide advisory services and support to students. The role involves delivering tutorials, ensuring smooth admissions processes, and liaising with external agencies. Candidates should have a Level 3 qualification in a relevant area and relevant guidance experience. Hours: 22.5 hours, Term-Time Only (38 weeks)

As a Progress Coach, your duties will include providing a comprehensive advisory service to students and potential students. This involves offering impartial guidance, delivering group tutorials, pre-course information, ensuring smooth admissions/enrolment processes, and providing or arranging non-academic tutorial support for all students. You will also be involved in safeguarding students, liaising with external agencies, visiting schools, conducting reviews, and maintaining records.
You should have a Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject, relevant guidance-related experience, and a good knowledge of further education and academic progression routes. Excellent presentation skills, good IT skills, and strong organisational and interpersonal skills are essential. You should also possess (or be willing to achieve) Level 2 English and Maths, e.g., GCSE Maths and English (Grades 9-4/A-C).
