• Define and implement test approaches for diverse delivery and technology landscapes
• Offer expert guidance on test strategies, processes, tools, frameworks, and technologies
• Lead the creation and implementation of complex test frameworks to support automation, integration, and continuous functional and non-functional testing
• Champion the practical application of AI in testing — such as AI-assisted test design, predictive risk analysis, synthetic test data generation, or intelligent reporting and insights
• Stay ahead of emerging trends in delivery, testing, and technology, ensuring pragmatic adoption of new practices
• Oversee large-scale test programmes across multiple workstreams, vendors, and delivery methodologies
• Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure excellence in execution, offering support rather than driving day-to-day operations

About the Role

As a Programme Test Manager, you’ll bring your hands‑on expertise to define and lead test strategies across complex programmes and delivery lifecycles. You’ll oversee functional, performance, and automation testing teams, ensuring quality is embedded throughout delivery while working closely with senior stakeholders to achieve successful business outcomes.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Provide strategic and technical leadership, delivering effective test strategies that balance technical and business risk.
• Define and implement test approaches for diverse delivery and technology landscapes, ensuring cost-effective and high-quality solutions.
• Offer expert guidance on test strategies, processes, tools, frameworks, and technologies.
• Lead the creation and implementation of complex test frameworks to support automation, integration, and continuous functional and non‑functional testing.
• Champion the practical application of AI in testing — such as leveraging generative AI for automated test case design, predictive risk analysis, synthetic test data generation, or intelligent reporting and insights.
• Stay ahead of emerging trends in delivery, testing, and technology, ensuring pragmatic adoption of new practices.
• Oversee large‑scale test programmes across multiple workstreams, vendors, and delivery methodologies.
• Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure excellence in execution, offering support rather than driving day‑to‑day operations.

• A passion for modern technology, displaying an active interest in, aptitude for, and identifying opportunities for AI‑assisted testing and workflows alongside continuous delivery, JavaScript‑based testing frameworks, microservices, containerisation, and DevOps practices.
• Exceptional understanding of modern testing techniques, tools, and technologies.
