A utility company in the UK is seeking a Programme Support Specialist to assist in the execution of investment plans. This role involves using Excel and Power BI for data analysis, creating reports for stakeholders, and ensuring programme outcomes align with business objectives. The position requires strong analytical and communication skills, offering a salary of up to £36,000 and a hybrid working model.
As a Programme Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the successful execution of Southern Water's investment plans. Working closely with our Investment Programme Managers, you will help drive the delivery of key interventions—ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and delivering maximum benefit. This role will primarily support programmes within either our Water or Wastewater portfolio, with additional involvement in IT, Management & General, and other business areas as required. You will be at the heart of programme execution, collaborating with key stakeholders across Asset Management, Capital Delivery, Finance, Operations, and IT.
You will be highly numerate and analytical, confident handling complex data, turning insights into actionable reports. With exceptional communication and influencing skills, you can engage stakeholders at senior and board level, driving alignment and decision-making. You will be skilled at juggling multiple priorities and thrive in fast-paced environments, ensuring deadlines are met without compromising quality or control.

This role will be full time Monday to Friday 37 hours a week. Southern Water operate a hybrid approach to working between our Durrington office and home.
