Stoke-on-Trent City Council is seeking a part-time Business Support Officer to support the Place Expansion Programme, helping create healthier, more active communities across Bentilee, Meir, Abbey Hulton and Burslem.

You will provide essential administrative and operational support, coordinate meetings, track actions, assist with financial monitoring and reporting, and manage communications with partners to ensure compliance and timely delivery.

Competenze

• Experience in business administration, project support or providing administrative assistance within a busy team or programme environment.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
• Good numerical and IT skills with experience of maintaining spreadsheets and financial or performance reporting.

Mansioni

• Provide administrative and operational support to the Place Expansion Programme.
• Arrange meetings, prepare agendas and papers, records minutes, maintain action logs and support governance arrangements.
• Assist with financial monitoring, budget records and expenditure tracking.
• Coordinate programme communications, maintain accurate records and documentation in line with procedures.
• Liaise with internal colleagues and external partners to support programme activities and deadlines.
