Job Description:

This is a great opportunity to join the UK Committee for UNICEF (UNICEF UK) as Programme Support Officer for the Child Friendly Cities & Communities programme.

Child Friendly Cities & Communities is a UNICEF UK programme that works with councils to implement children’s rights. The programme aims to create cities and communities where children, whether in care, using a children’s centre, or visiting local facilities, have a meaningful say in, and benefit from, local decisions, services, and spaces that affect their lives.

As Programme Support Officer, you will provide administrative support to the team. You should have experience in coordination, business support, or administration, and be able to manage a busy workload with competing priorities. You should communicate effectively, show initiative, pay attention to detail, and be eager to develop skills in communications and deepen your understanding of issues affecting children and young people in the UK.

Please demonstrate your knowledge, skills, and understanding of the role and how UNICEF UK’s values align with yours in your application. Using AI tools like ChatGPT to generate your answers will disqualify your application.
