East West Railway Company in Milton Keynes is seeking a Programme Sponsor to shape the direction of the project and drive transformational growth in the region. You will work with the Department for Transport, Network Rail and industry stakeholders to deliver value and ensure outcomes align with sponsor requirements.

Qualificações

• Experience in sponsorship and/or programme management on a major programme or portfolio is desirable.
• Ability to distill complex technical and commercial issues into clear messages for diverse audiences.
• Experience developing options and influencing decisions.
• Railway experience and liaison with government desirable.
• Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Socially aware with a focus on inclusivity and diversity.

Responsabilidades

• Shape the scope of the East West Railway project to deliver the right outcomes.
• Inform development of policies and scope to create value and benefits realisation.
• Act as Accountable sponsor in PACE for specific work packages.
• Support Sponsor in development and delivery of the wider portfolio.
• Guide project teams on programme scope and manage scope change.
• Build and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders.
• Support integration of projects across workstreams and the business.
• Lead monitoring and evaluation of benefits.
• Identify, pursue and negotiate commercial/funding opportunities with third parties.
• Collaborate with Network Rail, DfT, DfT Operator and other stakeholders to ensure resilient interfaces with the national rail network.
