Programme Quality Engineer - 35932563 - £33.88/hr (Umbrella Rate)

What You Will Do:

1. Ensure the integrity of quality maturation through assessment and validations of Critical to Quality deliverables up to Gateway approval.
2. Develop and drive Whole Life Quality Plans to meet key Quality targets and reduce Things Gone Wrong (TGW) on a continuous basis.
3. Lead the Customer Acceptance Testing (CAT) process, driving problem resolution and reduction of TGW.
4. Deliver programme deliverables on time and manage risks and issues through effective planning and recovery strategies.
5. Support engineering delivery with Evidence Based Engineering Reviews and Design Review By Failure Mode among other forums, providing quality input and risk assessment.
6. Lead lesson learnt events and drive the improvement of both the product and business processes with a strong continuous improvement mindset.

What You Will Bring:

1. Demonstrable understanding of programme and project management within delivery frameworks.
2. Experience in working with customer and competitor insight data to drive product decisions.
3. Proficiency in Failure Mode Avoidance methodology within systems engineering at various levels.
4. Knowledge of Quality Management and Operating Systems such as APQP, ISO9001 & IATF 16949 (preferred).
5. Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience preferred.
