Overview

We’re looking for a Programme Planner to support clear project governance, encourage thoughtful risk management, and guide the effective planning and coordination of our project programme. Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the creation, coordination, and care of the integrated master programme
  • Nurture progress tracking of individual projects, identifying key areas and reviewing forecasts and milestones to maintain schedule accuracy and support well-informed decisions
  • Share and present information in an accessible way to enable teams to confidently oversee their areas, including reviewing contractor-submitted programmes under the NEC contract
  • Reflect on baselines, explore alternative scenarios, and suggest responsive plans
  • Connect and align contractor programmes
  • Contribute to the QRSA process
  • Prepare monthly updates, including programme and risk reports, and gather insights from across the team
  • Alongside the Senior Quantity Surveyor (Risk and Cost), support the change process to help preserve the balance of project schedule, risk, and cost
Requirements

Skills, Qualifications & Competencies

  • Familiarity with scheduling tools (Primavera is essential)
  • Experience reviewing NEC contractor programmes is helpful
  • Clear and empathetic communication skills
  • Strong sense of organisation and self-direction
  • Ability to thoughtfully review and write progress summaries, meeting notes, and decision-support documents
  • Comfortable using Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Teams
  • Awareness of risk management (Monte Carlo analysis is a plus). Experience with ERP systems and contract management tools is beneficial
  • At least 4 years of relevant experience
  • A valid driver’s licence; all applicants will take part in our driver assessment
