Overview

Our client, a pioneering automotive company, is looking to recruit a Programme Planner who will support structured and effective planning across a flagship vehicle programme. The successful candidate will take ownership of timing plans, manage dependencies, and help keep the programme on track, working closely with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Responsibilities
  • Own and implement best practices for programme planning across all functions and workstreams.
  • Build and manage cohesive master schedules, integrating feeder plans and resolving conflicts.
  • Identify critical paths and risks, supporting mitigation strategies with stakeholders.
  • Support the Head of Programme Management in structuring and refining delivery plans.
  • Maintain accurate planning data and provide clear reports to stakeholders at all levels.
Requirements
  • Experience supporting whole-vehicle automotive or similar product development programmes.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Project, including critical path analysis and dependency tracking.
  • A degree in mechanical, automotive engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Experience working within the automotive industry (OEM or engineering services) with an understanding of product development.
  • Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and strong communication across teams.
