This is your chance to be part of a defining moment in shaping the future of our services. Here at the NSPCC, we've been protecting children for over 100 years, doing everything we can to prevent abuse and neglect and giving expert support to help children recover.
We're now at a pivotal moment in our strategy, with two programmes from our Operations department offering the right candidate a chance to be involved in some of the most significant technology upgrades to our services in the history of the NSPCC:
Together these programmes will transform how we help even more children and young people feel listened to, supported and kept safe. This is your chance to personally make a positive difference for thousands of children and young people every year.
Alongside working with a wide variety of stakeholders, from service users to those on the frontline of our services, we're looking for people who want to be part of a dedicated team to support these programmes with the design, build, test and implementation of their new technology solutions.
We're currently recruiting for a full time, fixed term Programme Officer. The position will run until the end of April 2026.
The Programme Officer will work with numerous internal and external stakeholders across the programme to coordinate actions, maintain governance processes and documentation, and support colleagues to deliver their outputs and outcomes. The post holder will provide a broad range of support to the Project Managers across the programme, coordinating activity across colleagues and contributing to the upkeep of programme plans, RAID logs and regular reporting.
This role will be home-based, but the post holder will be expected to undertake business travel as required, specifically to our London office to support the Helplines Technology Transformation Programme and Services Transformation Programme.
