We are seeking a highly motivated Aerospace Programme Manager to support our clients in delivering complex projects and driving business improvements in the Test and Evaluation, Certification and Systems Assurance domain (TECSA). In this role, you will provide expert guidance on project and programme management best practices, contribute to bid writing efforts, identify future business opportunities, and enhance organisational processes to ensure efficiency and success.

This role can be based at our Bristol or Stokenchurch office, travel will be required and also working on site with our clients.

What you'll be doing
  • Lead and support the delivery of projects and programmes, ensuring they meet scope, time, cost, and quality objectives.
  • Provide strategic advice and hands-on support to improve project and programme management frameworks.
  • Assist in developing compelling bid proposals and responses to tenders, ensuring alignment with client needs and industry standards.
  • Identify and assess future business opportunities, conducting market analysis to support business growth.
  • Develop and implement process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Engage with stakeholders at all levels to manage expectations, mitigate risks, and drive project success.
  • Monitor and report on project performance, using data-driven insights to inform decision-making.
  • Support knowledge sharing and best practice development within the organisation and client teams.
  • Ensure projects align with best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain Key relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Stay informed on best practices, trends, and emerging methodologies
  • Leading and managing a team of systems engineers and flight test engineers.
Skills and Experience Required
  • Proven experience in Aerospace Test and Evaluation, Certification and Systems Assurance domain.
  • Proven experience in project and programme management across Aerospace industries
  • Strong understanding of bid writing processes and experience in developing successful proposals.
  • Ability to identify and evaluate new business opportunities in a competitive market.
  • Expertise in process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, Agile).
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a results-driven approach.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP, MSP, Agile).
  • Experience working in consultancy or client-facing roles is highly desirable.
  • Experience of managing a team, coaching and developing.
  • UK Citizenship OR hold a NATO Country Passport and have the Right to Work in the UK
  • Security Clearance
Desirable Qualifications
  • PRINCE2, PMP, or MSP certification.
  • Lean Six Sigma qualification.

In this role you'll be reporting to David Cooper - General Manager - Advisory & Business Operations and Assurance, and have 8 team members reporting to you; a mixture of extremely talented Flight Test Engineers and Systems Engineers.

Recruitment process will include a minimum of 3 MS teams and In-person interviews in our offices in Bristol or Stokenchurch.
