The Opportunity

We’re supporting a global asset manager on a strategic transformation programme across its Finance function. They’re seeking a seasoned Programme Manager with strong domain knowledge in Finance change and a proven track record of cross-functional delivery in complex, matrixed environments.

You’ll play a key role in shaping and executing initiatives across Finance Operations, Financial Control, FP&A, and enterprise-wide process improvement. This is a hands-on leadership role with visibility at executive level.


What You’ll Be Doing

• Leading a portfolio of change initiatives across the global Finance function
• Designing and delivering Target Operating Models, future state processes, and planning frameworks
• Driving execution across Finance Ops, FP&A, and Control, with measurable outcomes
• Owning budget governance, benefits tracking, and dependency management
• Managing complex stakeholder environments across Finance, Technology, and Operations
• Delivering within a hybrid methodology framework (Agile/Waterfall)
• Providing clarity in ambiguity and energising cross-functional teams
  

What We’re Looking For

• Extensive programme management experience in financial services, ideally asset management
• Deep understanding of finance processes and transformation in a regulated environment
• Strong working knowledge of finance systems, controls, and reporting cycles
• Evidence of Target Operating Model design and execution
• Polished communication skills, with the ability to influence and lead at SteerCo level
• Comfortable navigating change ambiguity and tight delivery timelines
• Experience in or with Big Four consulting (preferred)
