About the Role

As Programme Manager, you\’ll oversee the successful delivery of large-scale trading system implementations and upgrades. You\’ll manage cross-functional teams, coordinate with senior stakeholders, and ensure programmes are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives. This is a high-impact role requiring strong leadership, domain expertise, and a deep understanding of capital markets technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of trading system programmes across multiple clients and geographies.
• Define programme scope, timelines, budgets, and resource plans.
• Manage risks, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Coordinate across business analysts, developers, QA, and client teams to ensure alignment and execution.
• Drive governance, reporting, and escalation processes with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure solutions meet regulatory and operational requirements (e.g., MiFID II, EMIR, Dodd-Frank).
• Contribute to continuous improvement of delivery frameworks and client engagement models.

What You’ll Bring

• 8+ years’ experience in programme/project management within trading systems, fintech, or capital markets.
• Proven track record of delivering complex technology programmes in front-office environments.
• Strong understanding of trading workflows, OMS/EMS platforms, and post-trade processes.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
• Experience with Agile and hybrid delivery methodologies.
• Familiarity with FIX protocol, market data, and regulatory frameworks.

Qualifications

• Experience working with platforms like Fidessa, Charles River, Bloomberg AIM, or similar.
• Certifications such as PMP, Prince2, or Agile PM.
