Job summary

Everything Tech Group is leading a major AI programme to deliver new AI-driven services and improve the overall customer experience. The Programme Manager will own planning, governance and delivery rhythm, coordinating engineering, customer experience and commercial workstreams to agreed milestones and budget.

The role requires delivering complex technology programmes end to end, blending PRINCE2/MSP with agile methods, and communicating effectively with executive stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Track record delivering complex technology programmes end to end, ideally AI/automation or data-driven products/services.
• Strong command of structured and agile delivery methods and ability to blend them.
• Experience running senior governance: reporting to and challenging executive stakeholders.
• Demonstrable budget management across people and technology costs.
• Experience building or scaling a delivery team, including recruitment.
• Excellent written communication; able to produce concise, decision-ready papers.

Responsibilities

• Own the programme plan for the AI programme, including milestones, dependencies, resourcing and budget, and keep it current and honest.
• Establish and run the delivery cadence: sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews and retrospectives across three workstreams.
• Prepare and run monthly governance reviews with the executive sponsor group, including progress reporting, risk escalation and decision papers.
• Own the programme RAID log, ensuring risks carry named owners, mitigations and review dates.
• Manage the recruitment and onboarding plan for the AI programme team, working with hiring managers and external agencies.
• Own the programme communication plan, keeping stakeholders informed of new capabilities and successes as they land.
• Track programme spend against the approved budget across people, licensing and capital costs, reporting variances promptly.
• Coordinate technology partners and suppliers engaged by the programme.
• Ensure programme documentation and reporting are maintained to a standard suitable for internal and external review.
