Job summary

Ocado Logistics in the United Kingdom seeks a Programme Manager (Transformation - Maternity Cover) to lead high-impact transformation initiatives, with a focus on large-scale people projects, HR transformation, and organisational design, ensuring target operating models evolve with growth.

You will partner with executive sponsors, define governance, and drive change management across our logistics network, delivering on time and within budget while maintaining quality and stakeholder alignment.

Qualifications

  • Experience as a Programme Manager within Transformation / HR or OD or Senior Project Leader with a heavy focus on driving HR transformation, organisational design (OD), target operating models, and large-scale people change programmes.
  • Proven track record of managing upward among executive leadership, influencing key decision-makers, and building collaborative relationships across matrixed business areas.
  • Formally certified in recognised programme and project management methodologies (such as PRINCE2, MSP, Agile, or PMBOK).
  • Strong commercial acumen and financial discipline, with hands-on experience managing programme budgets, governance, and PMO structures.
  • Exceptional negotiation, mediation, and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to navigate complex organisational structures and deliver clear, well-structured change communications.

  • Leading complex, end-to-end transformation programmes as a Programme Manager, focusing on organisational design, culture change, and strategic people initiatives.
  • Partnering closely with executive sponsors and senior stakeholders to define programme charters, shape governance structures, and align strategic people frameworks with broader business objectives.
  • Driving organisational change management strategies across Ocado Logistics, ensuring workstreams are prioritised, interdependencies are managed, and employees are engaged throughout the journey.
  • Overseeing programme budgets, resource planning, and governance, ensuring all projects are delivered on time, within cost, and to the highest standards of quality.
  • Translating complex business and workforce requirements into actionable, structured transformation roadmaps that support our operational fulfilment network.
