Job summary

Copello is seeking an experienced Programme Manager to lead complex business transformation initiatives and strategic bid programmes within a highly regulated environment. You will own the full programme and bid lifecycle, coordinating multi-disciplinary teams to deliver compelling proposals that drive growth and meet customers' expectations.

You will work with senior stakeholders across technical and commercial functions, manage budgets and risks, and apply structured bid methodologies.

Qualifications

• Proven programme management experience in a regulated environment.
• Track record leading bids and growth initiatives.
• Excellent commercial, financial, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong communication and influencing abilities.
• Experience in defence/aerospace/government or similar regulated sectors is advantageous.
• Knowledge of bid methodologies (e.g. Shipley) is desirable.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Programme Manager to lead complex business transformation initiatives and strategic bid programmes within a highly regulated environment.

You'll take ownership of the full programme and bid lifecycle, working with multidisciplinary teams to deliver successful proposals, drive business growth, and ensure programmes are executed on time, within budget, and to customer expectations.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead strategic programmes and end-to-end bid activities.
• Manage programme budgets, risks, opportunities, and delivery plans.
• Work closely with internal teams, customers, and partners to achieve successful outcomes.
• Support long‑term business growth and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders across technical and commercial functions.

What we're looking for:

• Proven programme management experience within a regulated industry.
• Strong track record of leading successful bids and business growth initiatives.
• Excellent commercial, financial, and stakeholder management skills.
• Confident communicator with the ability to influence at all levels.
• Experience within defence, aerospace, government, or a similarly regulated sector is advantageous.
• Knowledge of structured bid methodologies (e.g. Shipley) is desirable.
