We’re also proud to be recognised as a recipient of the ‘Top Employer Europe 2024’ certification, underscoring our commitment to fostering a dynamic and supportive work environment. If you’re ready to be part of the team shaping the industry, we’d love to hear from you.

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Programme Manager to join our Data & Tech team and lead the development of our global data and technology platform, IBEX 2.0. The core vision for IBEX is "Turning Data into Action," and this role is central to delivering on that promise. You will be responsible for orchestrating the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from translating stakeholder needs into actionable development tickets to managing the final deployment.

This is a strategic, hands-on role responsible for both defining the product roadmap and managing its delivery, ensuring our technical execution aligns perfectly with business goals. As a key leader in our tech operation, you will also mediate between our two main tech hubs (UK and Indonesia) to consolidate efforts, foster a unified team culture and drive the development of a single, world-class product.

Key Responsibilities
  • Product & Stakeholder Management:
  • Lead the project scoping process, collaborating with stakeholders, product teams and engineering to define initial project scope, key technical requirements and high-level user stories, along with establishing realistic project timelines.
  • Establish and manage communication plans with senior leadership, ensuring alignment on project progress, timelines and escalations.
  • Act as the primary liaison between stakeholders and engineers to clarify requirements and resolve queries.
  • Work with stakeholders to produce comprehensive test scenarios and manage the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phase to secure formal sign-off.
  • Define and agree upon go/no-go criteria with stakeholders and lead the go/no-go meeting before deployment.
  • Agile & Project Delivery:
  • Lead daily stand-ups with the engineering team, proactively managing and escalating any blockers.
  • Lead backlog refinement sessions, including effort estimations, to ensure the development pipeline is prioritised based on business value and urgency.
  • Manage the sprint changeover process, including reviewing the previous sprint's performance and planning the upcoming sprint based on team capacity and priorities.
  • Oversee the post-deployment project close-down, ensuring all deliverables are met and documented.
  • Leadership & Coordination:
  • Mediate between the UK and Indonesia tech hubs to unify development efforts and foster a single, cohesive team environment.
  • Escalate any risks or delays to project timelines to both stakeholders and senior leadership in a timely manner.
Role Requirements
  • Proven experience in a Programme Manager or Product Owner role within a technology or data-focused environment.
  • A strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
  • Experience leading and motivating engineering teams, including facilitating agile ceremonies like stand-ups, backlog refinement and sprint planning.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities, navigate ambiguity and drive projects to completion.
  • Experience working with distributed or international teams is highly desirable, particularly with a track record of fostering collaboration and alignment across different locations.
  • A strategic mindset, capable of connecting day-to-day development work with broader business objectives.
