Job summary

Mercedes AMG High Performance Powertrains offers a 12 month Advanced Technology Programme Management Placement Scheme designed to tap into your passion and determination. The role sits at the heart of delivering Championship-Winning programmes and Advanced Technology initiatives, coordinating between Engineering, Operations and Test through to the track.

You will learn to plan Power Unit programmes, create transparency on targets and timelines, and develop the skills to manage complex projects

Qualifications

• Studying for an Engineering, Science or Business related degree.

Responsibilities

• Learn about Programme Management and Operations in delivering world class programmes.
• Learn how to plan and coordinate Power Unit programmes, proactively ensuring the correct Power Unit hardware is available when required.
• Create transparency with regards to what the programme is targeting to deliver, when, and what’s needed to do it successfully.

Role Overview

At Mercedes AMG High Performance Powertrains we offer a 12 month Advanced Technology Programme Management Placement Scheme which will tap into your passion and determination, giving you a real opportunity to contribute to our success story.

In Programme Management we ensure complex projects are managed through a number of technical, and often unpredictable, stages to tight deadlines. We sit at the heart of Mercedes AMG HPP and are responsible for the delivery of Championship-Winning programmes and ground breaking Advanced Technology programmes. We achieve this by facilitating the interaction between Engineering, Operations and Test through to the road and race track.

Purpose of the role is to…

• Learn about Programme Management and Operations in delivering world class programmes.
• Learn how to plan and coordinate Power Unit programmes, proactively ensuring the correct Power Unit hardware is available when required.
• Create transparency with regards to what the programme is targeting to deliver, when, and what’s needed to do it successfully.
