£33,210 - £39,419 FTE (£20,195.27 - £23,971.01 pro-rata per annum)

About the role

The Digital and Creative Media Department is recruiting a motivated, experienced Creative Media professional to become a Programme Leader. You will take ownership of and add creativity to your curriculum, ensuring high standards of delivery. This fast-paced role involves working closely with a supportive team across the department.

Your duties may include planning, delivering, and assessing from Level 1 to Level 3 within the BTEC Creative Media Skills qualification awarded by Pearson. Responsibilities include:

  1. Delivering high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment.
  2. Planning, facilitating, and tracking learner progress.
  3. Supporting learners in target setting and achievement.
  4. Providing outstanding pastoral and academic support.
  5. Driving recruitment for upcoming academic years and keeping the curriculum updated with industry changes.
About the person

The ideal candidate will have a background in Digital and Creative Media, including digital and photography formats. Experience delivering Level 1/3 qualifications in secondary or further education is essential.

Requirements include:

  • Level 2 Functional Skills or higher in English and Maths.
  • Foundation Degree or higher in Digital and Creative Media.
  • Knowledge of IT systems and software, including Artificial Intelligence (AI).
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud and other relevant software.
