Havant & South Downs College (HSDC) is a leading Further Education college in Hampshire, England, formed from the merger of South Downs College and Havant Sixth Form College in 2017. The college offers nearly 40 A Level subjects, various vocational courses, and apprenticeships in partnership with local and national businesses. HSDC caters to over 7,500 students, including 1,300 adult learners and nearly 300 higher education students. The college has two main campuses in the Borough of Havant and collaborates with prestigious local universities for higher education courses.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Programme Leader for Adults based in Havant. The Programme Leader for Adults will be responsible for overseeing the development and delivery of adult education programs, managing curriculum, guiding and supporting adult learners, and ensuring the programs meet the educational standards and requirements. The role also includes coordinating with faculty, assessing student progress, providing career guidance, and working towards continuous improvement of the adult education offerings.

Qualifications
  • Experience in curriculum development, adult education, and program management
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to assess and track student progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Experience with higher education partnerships and collaborative projects
  • Relevant qualification in Education, and preferably a Master's degree
  • Experience in using educational technology and digital tools
  • Proven track record of working in a further education environment
