Job description

AI Delivery Manager / AI Programme Manager

£500-£600 per day

Outside IR35

Manchester (Hybrid - 2 days a week in office)

Are you passionate about helping organisations unlock the real value of AI? We're looking for an experienced AI Delivery Manager / AI Programme Manager / Change Manager to join an AI Consultancy on the adoption and rollout of AI initiatives across the business.

This role is not about coding or leading the technical build of models - the technical expertise already sits with the Head of Data Science & AI. Instead, you'll take ownership of shaping and activating the AI pipeline, from initial idea through to business case and delivery.

You'll partner closely with business stakeholders to capture opportunities, assess whether solutions should be built or bought, and present proposals to the AI approval forum. Alongside this, you'll roll up your sleeves to ensure initiatives move forward, tracking impact and enabling successful adoption across markets.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the intake, prioritisation, and progression of AI use cases.
  • Acting as the bridge between business leaders, product teams, and AI specialists.
  • Preparing decision-ready proposals and communicating outcomes clearly.
  • Driving adoption and embedding best practice across the organisation.

What we're looking for:

  • Strong background in programme, delivery, or transformation roles with AI/Digital exposure.
  • Proven stakeholder management and business engagement skills.
  • Ability to balance strategic oversight with hands-on enablement.
  • Experience in fast-paced industries (retail or consumer goods ideal).
