Job summary
The King’s Foundation seeks an experienced Programme Manager to lead Decoratieve Metiers d’Art in Watchmaking, a fully funded, postgraduate-level training developed with Cartier. Based at Dumfries House, the role focuses on delivering an industry-led curriculum, leading workshops, and mentoring a cohort of 6 learners to develop high-level technical skills.
You will coordinate content, engage with guest tutors and industry partners, and ensure the programme remains innovative and impactful while
Qualifications
- Degree-level qualification in jewellery design / manufacturing / silversmithing / applied arts, or equivalent industry experience.
- Proven project management skills with experience overseeing educational or apprenticeship programmes.
- Strong knowledge of jewellery and watch sectors, with enamel techniques understanding.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality technical tuition in decorative watchmaking with enamel work.
- Lead on recruitment, pastoral care and post-course progression processes.
- Plan and deliver timetabled workshops, studio activities and exhibitions.
- Ensure activity aligns with The King’s Foundation ethos of craftsmanship and excellence.
- Travel within the UK as required.
