Role: Programme Leader, Art & Design - Further Education
Hourly Rate: £30 – £42 per hour
Location: Scarborough

We are working with a well-regarded and inclusive education provider in the Scarborough area that is committed to helping every learner thrive. The organisation promotes a calm and purposeful learning environment, where students are supported to develop confidence, independence, and their creative potential.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Programme Leader in Art & Design to join the team on a part-time basis (15 hours per week). This is a temporary position and is ideal for an experienced creative educator with a passion for developing innovative art and design programmes that inspire and engage learners.

The successful candidate will bring subject expertise, a commitment to high-quality teaching, and the ability to lead others within a collaborative department. They will support learners to develop both technical skills and critical thinking within a creative context.

Key responsibilities include:
• Leading the planning and delivery of the Art & Design curriculum
• Supporting colleagues with innovative teaching approaches
• Monitoring and reviewing student progress and performance
• Encouraging creative exploration and independent learning
• Embedding industry relevance and progression opportunities
