Job Summary

This is an exciting time to join the GUARDIAN Programme team at the heart of transforming the Air Defence system of the United Kingdom. You will work in a small team coordinating and managing the delivery of the Programme across the United Kingdom and the Falkland Islands.

This role is being advertised at Headquarters Air Command, RAF High Wycombe, and a successful candidate will typically be expected to attend the office at High Wycombe for 3 days per week when not travelling elsewhere. In line with Air Command's longer-term strategy, it is envisaged that the opportunity to hybrid work from alternative locations will continue where possible, noting that business requirements will govern attendance where necessary. This may include travel to Ministry of Defence Main Building in Central London as well as travel to other RAF and Ministry of Defence establishments nationally; particularly Abbey Wood (Bristol) and Swanwick (Southampton).

HQ Air Command has good public transport links with regular bus services to/from Aylesbury and High Wycombe. There is free car parking, access to a subsidised gym (and fitness classes), a convenience store and three dedicated Costa Cafes across the site.

This position is advertised at 37 hours per week.
