Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Programme Financial Controller or similar
• Strong experience managing budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting
• Experience supporting large transformation programmes within Financial Services or Capital Markets
• Ability to provide governance, control and financial insight to senior stakeholders
• Proactive, commercially minded with strong analytical skills

Responsibilities

• Own financial governance and control across a large-scale transformation portfolio.
• Develop and manage programme budgets, tracking expenditure against funding and forecasting.
• Produce accurate forecasts and financial models for future investment needs.
• Deliver variance analysis, identify cost pressures and opportunities.
• Monitor burn rates and expenditure; highlight overruns and implement corrective actions.
• Act as financial owner for change control and reflect changes in forecasts.
• Maintain cost baselines and ensure alignment with governance and audit.
• Provide executive-level reporting, dashboards, and MI for sponsors and steering committees.
• Track commitments, purchase orders, invoices, accruals, and supplier spend.
• Reconcile expenditure across sources and ensure financial transparency.
• Collaborate with Finance, Procurement, PMO and Programme Leadership for governance.
• Support investment planning, funding approvals, and business case tracking
• Provide financial insight to senior stakeholders to inform decisions.
