The Opportunity

Join our expanding Sizewell C (SZC) team to work on one of the UK’s largest megaprojects, contributing to the UK’s climate change goals and energy policy. The SZC Project is a nuclear new build project in Suffolk, with planning approval and government support, aiming to provide reliable electricity for 6 million homes over 60 years and help Britain achieve Net Zero by 2050.

SZC PMO Programme Excellence and Innovation (PE&I) supports and implements business changes across the organization, focusing on people, processes, and technology to deliver measurable benefits. We are looking for a PE&I Project Management Lead.

Our teams operate flexibly, with a hybrid approach between office and home working, equipped with full IT support.

The Role

The Project Management Lead collaborates with senior managers to initiate, analyze, plan, and implement non-BAU business change projects, ensuring smooth handover to BAU teams for adoption. The role manages the prioritization, dependencies, and interfaces of complex programs and projects within the SZC PMO portfolio.

Reporting to the Head of Programme Excellence and Innovation, the role ensures best practices and governance are followed, leading the PE&I team to drive sustainable changes and support project managers in achieving organizational goals.

The Lead works with internal teams and external partners to deliver business change initiatives and implements benefits tracking to ensure value realization.

Skills and Qualifications

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Knowledge of industry best practices and change management standards.
• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related field.
