Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a seasoned Project/Change Manager to oversee organisation-wide change initiatives. You will plan, lead, and deliver change projects ensuring alignment with business objectives and quality standards.

You will engage senior stakeholders, manage budgets and timelines, and drive risk management and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Deliver change projects on time, within scope, budget, and quality.
  • Develop and manage project plans with scope, objectives, timelines, resources.
  • Communicate with stakeholders to keep them informed of progress.
  • Lead project teams, ensuring adequate resources and skills.
  • Manage project budgets to stay within agreed limits.
  • Create progress reports showing on-time delivery and budget adherence.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and dependencies.
  • Facilitate change management with training and communications.

Job description

Responsibilities
  • Manage change projects within the organisation, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and manage project plans that outline the scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements for change projects.
  • Communicate with stakeholders, including senior management, project teams, and external partners, to keep them informed about project progress and to ensure their needs and expectations are met.
  • Manage project teams, ensuring they are properly resourced and have the necessary skills and expertise to deliver on project objectives.
  • Manage project budgets, ensuring projects are delivered within the agreed budget.
  • Create reports on project progress to ensure proposed solutions are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Manage project risks by identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies as necessary.
  • Facilitate change management activities, including training and communication, to ensure that change projects are successfully implemented and embedded in the organisation.
Requirements
  • Extensive knowledge of how the function integrates with the business division or group to achieve overall business objectives.
  • Maintain broad and comprehensive knowledge of industry theories and practices within the discipline, alongside up‑to‑date relevant sector or functional knowledge and insight into external market developments or initiatives.
  • Use interpretative thinking and advanced analytical skills to solve problems and design solutions in often complex or sensitive situations.
  • Exercise management authority to make significant decisions and certain strategic recommendations within own area.
  • Negotiate with and influence stakeholders at a senior level both internally and externally.
  • Act as principal contact point for key clients and counterparts in other functions or business divisions.
  • Mandated as a spokesperson for the function and business division.
  • Demonstrate a clear set of leadership behaviours to create an environment for colleagues to thrive and deliver to a consistently excellent standard.
  • Foster and guide compliance, ensuring regulations are observed and relevant processes are in place to facilitate adherence.
