About the Role

We’re looking for a dynamic and hands-on Programme Director to lead and evolve our strategic transformation agenda. This is a high-impact role at the heart of a fast-moving, private equity-backed business, where you’ll work across a diverse portfolio of initiatives aimed at driving value and improving our client and employee experiences. Projects might include product launches, systems implementations, process transformation or pricing and commercial optimisation. You’ll bring structure, clarity, and momentum to our programmes while staying close to the detail and delivering real results.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Enhance Programme Management
    • Refine objectives, KPIs, and tracking tools across existing strategic programmes.
    • Establish a structured, reportable programme management approach with workstream leads and sponsors.
    • Manage small team of Project Managers.
  2. Prepare Robust KPI Reporting
    • Develop and implement robust KPI tracking systems, simplifying the process and providing scrutiny and challenge to the content.
    • Simplify complex data into clear, actionable insights.
  3. Engage and Empower Teams
    • Introduce improved tooling (dashboards, reporting systems) to simplify KPI tracking and milestone management.
    • Build confidence within teams through empathetic, supportive engagement.
    • Build relationships with stakeholders across all functions.
  4. Be a Hands-On Contributor
    • Offer critical thinking and lateral problem solving.
    • Step into projects directly when needed to recover timelines or accelerate outcomes.
    • Help unblock delivery challenges and ensure momentum is maintained across initiatives.
    • Facilitate workshops, remove blockers, and solve project challenges to drive results.
    • Create scalable, sustainable approaches that enable teams to manage effectively in BAU.
    • Support project teams with analysis, slide development, and narrative building to drive clarity and alignment.
