Overview

In Supply Chain and Programme Delivery Management, we ensure that we deliver the right product in the right quantity and conditions to the right place at the right time to satisfy the overall Programme Requirements. The role will provide you with the chance to work alongside Engineering, Operations, and Test teams, alongside external suppliers and partners, facilitating the seamless interaction that is crucial for a successful programme delivery. Mission

Responsibilities
  • Supply Chain and Programme Delivery Management: Develop a deep understanding of the F1 Power Unit Value Stream Map, Supply Chain Operations and Programme Delivery Processes, assisting with the coordination and timely availability of Power Unit hardware and assemblies to meet race and development schedules.
  • Critical Path Analysis & Planning: Analyse critical paths within supply chain and delivery projects to identify key dependencies and constraints. Define comprehensive, actionable plans that align with programme goals and timelines.
  • Create Business-Wide Visibility: Establish clear communication channels across the business to provide transparent visibility of project status, risks, and milestones. Define required actions and assign clear ownership to ensure accountability at all levels.
  • Set and Maintain Delivery Pace: Drive the programme forward by setting the required pace to meet tight deadlines. Proactively manage timelines to mitigate delays and ensure on-time delivery of hardware and systems.
  • Lead Projects: Take ownership of multiple high-priority supply chain and delivery projects within your portfolio, coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution and integration across departments.
  • Stakeholder Accountability: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers. Ensure all parties are aligned, informed, and accountable for their contributions to the programme's success.
  • Risk Management & Continuous Improvement: Identify risks and bottlenecks early within supply chain and delivery processes. Champion problem-solving initiatives, driving continuous improvement and efficiency gains.
  • Programme Reporting: Lead regular project reviews, gateway assessments, and status presentations. Use clear and insightful reporting to highlight progress, risks, and next steps to key stakeholders. Track key performance indicators to measure delivery success.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Facilitate strong collaboration between Engineering, Operations, Test teams, and Supply Chain functions to ensure integrated programme execution aligned with shared goals and timelines.

Requirements & Expectations
  • You will be on track to achieve a 2:1 degree, or above, in an Engineering, Science/Technology, Economics or Business Studies degree.
  • A strong academic background in relevant A Level disciplines (e.g., business studies, economics, maths or sciences) or equivalent qualification.
  • Excellent communicator and able to build relationships at all levels, including up to Managing Director level, internally and externally.
