Job summary

A leading business education centre is seeking a Programme Delivery Lead to oversee the successful delivery of Open Programmes. This role involves managing Senior Programme Managers, ensuring compliance, and enhancing operational efficiency. The right candidate will have significant experience leading complex programmes and strong operational skills to drive quality and efficiency. This is a full-time position located in Cambridge offering a salary in the region of £40,000 – £60,000, along with a generous benefits package.

  • Maintain accountability for timely, high-quality delivery.

Overview

We are looking for a Programme Delivery Lead to oversee the successful delivery of Open Programmes and ensure they meet institutional goals. You will lead a team of Senior Programme Managers, manage resources and budgets, and work with stakeholders across the organisation to maintain high-quality, timely, and compliant programme delivery. You will support continuous improvement initiatives, streamline processes, and implement new systems to enhance operational efficiency and participant experience. Our client is a leading international centre for business education, research, and executive development, based within a world-renowned university and connecting students, faculty, and professionals to address real-world business challenges.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement the delivery strategy in line with Open Programmes and institutional goals
  • Establish and monitor KPIs for participant experience, quality, cost, and risk
  • Represent the delivery function in leadership planning and strategic workstreams
  • Manage and support Senior Programme Managers, including setting goals, providing guidance, and supporting professional development
  • Maintain accountability for timely, high-quality delivery across all Open Programmes
  • Oversee resource planning, supplier management, and delivery scheduling
Skills and experience
  • Significant experience leading complex programmes or service delivery teams
  • Experience managing team performance and supporting team development
  • Strong operational skills, with the ability to improve efficiency, quality, and processes
  • Experience working across multiple stakeholders, including faculty, clients, and executive leadership
  • Experience with CRM systems and operational tools
  • Understanding of hybrid and online learning operations
  • Familiarity with AI tools, automation, or scheduling technologies in operational environments
Salary and benefits

A salary in the region of £40,000 – 60,000, bonus and generous benefits package including 33 days holiday plus bank holidays is offered.
