Job Description

This role is responsible for the operations of the communications ministry supporting various sub-ministries in their communications needs. He or she is expected to facilitate the process to achieve the primary deliverables and functions of Communications ministry.

As part of the Communications team, he or she is expected to contribute to the content creation process of ministry projects to attract traffic and improve SEO.

Responsibilities:-

  • Support the administrative operations of the communications team; including budgets, inventories and vendors management
  • Plan content schedule listings and productions/publication timelines for approval and work across departments and ministry partners on project management
  • Co-ordinate requests for work and ensure project deadlines are met. Work within and outside of organization to ensure objectives are met.
  • Provide guidelines and advise on platform requirements, Corporate Identity, copyrights (design resource) and statutory requirements (publication matters).
  • Evaluate outcome of platforms by maintaining the statistical analysis template of the respective platforms.

Requirements

  1. Diploma or degree in relevant discipline.
  2. Min 3 years of experience in communications-related function.
  3. Experience with Content Management Systems will be an added advantage.
  4. Well-versed in communications (writing, reporting, aesthetics) skills and wide online platform knowledge.
  5. Strong team player: ability to support and work across multiple team formats
  6. Creative thinker: constantly pushing for improvement, innovation and effective solutions.
