Programme Construction Manager - World's Most Efficient Single-Runway Airport Project (Hiring Immediately), Surrey

London Gatwick offers an exciting opportunity for a Programme Construction Manager to join our dynamic team at the world's most efficient single-runway airport. Be part of shaping our future by supporting the delivery of a substantial investment plan to develop and enhance our airport infrastructure and facilities.

The Programme Construction Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing construction activities on multiple major projects within a defined programme of works, all within a live operational environment with values over £50m. Key responsibilities include leading construction management, team development, safety engagement, contractor review and compliance, quality assurance, work inspections, and contractor onboarding.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Degree or equivalent in construction management or engineering; Chartered Membership of a recognised Engineering Institution is highly desirable.
  • At least ten years of experience managing complex infrastructure projects or multi-year engineering programmes, typically valued over £50m.
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects and a good understanding of construction techniques, quality management, and health and safety issues.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with NEC contracts and full UK driving license are highly desirable.
