Leadership & Management

Manage multiple engagements simultaneously, working under a dedicated Senior Manager and/or Director. Lead and develop junior team members around IPA (Independent Project Assurance).

Engage directly with senior stakeholders on the client side, such as Programme Directors and CFOs, effectively communicating risks and recommendations from IPA work. Collaborate with internal senior teams to secure resources, deliver, and finalize work.

Impact, Risk, Accountability & Governance

Contribute to risk management activities across large, multi-year, multimillion-pound engagements. Ensure adherence to all KPMG risk processes, especially given the high-risk nature of IPA work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of end-to-end business transformation ERP programmes, including their challenges and assurance requirements.
  • Understand critical workstreams such as PMO, business change, business architecture, testing, data, and transition, leading focused reviews in these areas.
  • Identify key risks throughout the programme lifecycle and determine appropriate mitigations to address them.
  • Translate observations into risks with clear impacts and practical, non-textbook recommendations.
  • Manage multiple IPA activities, including stage gates and deep dives, aligning with other assurance activities and communicating effectively with internal QA teams using appropriate language (first, second, third line of defense).

Lead junior teams to deliver high-quality outputs within pressured environments, such as health check reports, stage gate reviews, and assessments of client readiness to progress to subsequent stages.
