Job summary

KBR is seeking a Programme Assurance Coordinator to support the Programme Assurance Lead in optimising assurance activities for the PPP programme at Sellafield. The role focuses on data-driven decision making and the development of templates and guidance for standardised assurance processes.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of working in Projects, Programmes or Portfolios.
  • Understanding of Assurance in a Project environment.
  • Ability to create and maintain high quality reports that engage stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft packages to collate, analyse and report data.
  • Excellent communicator able to build networks and support the Programme Assurance Lead.

Job description

The Programme Assurance Coordinator supports the Programme Assurance Lead in optimising assurance activities across the PPP Programme. The role holder is responsible for the collation and reporting of assurance information to enable data-driven decision making.,

Responsibilities
  • Supports the Programme Assurance Lead in the optimisation of assurance activities across PPP.
  • Develops templates, tools and guidance to support standardisation of assurance across the Programme.
  • Coordinates the assurance community of practice within PPP, through forums and regular communications.
  • Works in collaboration with the Project Teams to provide guidance and support on assurance standards and expectations.
  • Identifies opportunities for assurance improvements by integrating with the Project Teams.
  • Collates and analyses assurance activity data to drive improvements and works with the PPP Benefits Lead to monitor benefits realisation.
  • Develops assurance reports on behalf of the Programme Assurance Lead.
  • Supports the development of assurance training and education packages
Candidate Profile
  • The ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience of working in Projects, Programmes or Portfolios.
  • They will have an understanding of Assurance in a Project environment.
  • They will have the ability to create and maintain good quality reports that engage stakeholders.
  • They are proficient in the use of Microsoft packages to collate, analyse and report data.
  • They are an excellent communicator that can build strong networks and can work on behalf of the Programme Assurance Lead as required.
  • They have experience of supporting improvement activities and delivering benefits.
  • Holds or eligible to apply for UK security clearance.
