Job Description

As a Programmatic Trader in our Enablement team, you'll lead and support digital marketing campaigns across all programmatic channels for our diverse clients. You will manage the delivery of daily programmatic campaigns and handle activation and strategy work for all clients.

This role requires technical expertise, strategic thinking, and a hands-on approach to client campaigns. We focus on impact and innovation, aiming to make a real difference in client results and stay at the forefront of media buying, with this role being a key driver of those goals.

Role Summary

  1. Plan, activate, and optimize media campaigns.
  2. Build and maintain relationships with vendors, technology suppliers, and publishers to stay ahead.
  3. Manage a portfolio of client programmatic campaigns, both leading and supporting larger campaigns.
  4. Deliver campaign briefs from strategy and planning to implementation and optimization.
  5. Own the day-to-day delivery of programmatic work aligned with customer objectives.
  6. Analyze data across tools to report on performance and identify new opportunities.
  7. Mentor and train junior team members, including technical training on ad platforms.
  8. Proactively identify growth opportunities within the enablement customer set.
  9. Support senior team members with strategy development.
  10. Define optimization strategies for clients.
  11. Manage relationships with senior client stakeholders.
  12. Maintain all relevant certifications.
  13. Understand and explain best practices for programmatic platform setup and influence sharing across teams.
  14. Lead meetings and communications regarding daily client delivery.
  15. Develop a deeper understanding of analytics platforms and tagging setup.
  16. Identify knowledge gaps and plan effective solutions.
  17. Consistently add value for customers, seeking ways to exceed expectations.
  18. Demonstrate beyond technical skills, including commercial awareness and project management.
  19. Confidently build campaigns across multiple platforms.
  20. Prove proficiency in customer management, delivery, optimization, analysis, and reporting.
  21. Continue developing a specialization, such as in ad platforms or industries, in strategy and planning.
  22. Maintain technical ability within ad platforms to support customer delivery.
  23. Utilize industry knowledge to find solutions and inspire clients.

Experience

  • Ideally 3+ years' experience with different DSPs (especially DV360 & Amazon DSP) and ad servers like Campaign Manager.
  • Hands-on experience planning, activating, and managing programmatic campaigns across channels like display, video, YouTube, audio, and DOOH.
  • Interest and knowledge of the latest programmatic trends.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and client service skills.
  • Experience with offline media buying (e.g., linear TV, OOH, cinema, radio) is a plus.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale, international client accounts.
  • Experience supporting and training junior team members is desirable.
