Overview

Assembly has a vision for becoming famous in programmatic performance, the only way in which that can be achieved is by hiring and nurturing incredible talent who are willing to go above and beyond.

We are excited to be hiring for a Programmatic Partner, Europe. This role is integral to delivering upon our programmatic vision, growing the programmatic department in Europe and adding exponential value to our clients.

Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Partnerships

  • Own and evolve the European Programmatic department’s strategic plan, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives.
  • Influence and implement our Global Programmatic Partnerships with key data, technology and media partners.
  • Lead the rollout of the Assembly Programmatic Suite for the region.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Inspire, manage, and mentor Business and Account Directors, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
  • Champion talent development, attracting and retaining top-tier Programmatic talent across our European and Global Delivery teams.
  • Create clear pathways for career growth and ensure high engagement within the department.

Client & Commercial Impact

  • Serve as the Programmatic lead for key clients, driving innovation and operational excellence that supports retention and growth.
  • Support and lead new business efforts, representing Programmatic in pitches and proactively shaping client solutions.
  • Monitor and deliver against commercial KPIs including client satisfaction, retention, and margin improvement.

Required Skills

  • Proven leadership experience within a Programmatic function, ideally in a multi-market or regional role.
  • Deep hands-on knowledge of DV360 and the broader Programmatic ecosystem.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience in client strategy, operations, and new business development.
  • Demonstrated success in building and scaling high-performing teams across multiple geographies.
  • Comfortable working in a matrix environment, balancing global delivery with local nuance.
  • Passion for innovation and solving problems through partnership, tech, and creativity.

Success Looks Like

  • High client retention and satisfaction across key Programmatic accounts.
  • Winning new business and elevating Programmatic contribution to total agency growth.
  • Strong talent engagement scores and retention across regional teams.
