A specialist programmatic business is seeking an Ad Tech Operations Specialist to manage exchange integrations and optimize performance. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of experience with OpenRTB and XML. This fully remote role allows you to work closely with partners and contribute to a high-impact technical team. The Company
Our client is a specialist programmatic business powering real-time advertising infrastructure for digital media partners across the globe. They help publishers and ad tech platforms maximise yield through highly efficient, transparent exchange-level integrations.
With a flat structure and remote-first setup, the business is scaling fast and looking to bring on sharp, hands-on talent to help optimise performance and support new partner growth. If you know your way around OpenRTB, XML, and SSP/DSP integrations, this is a great chance to join a high-impact technical team without layers of process or red tape.
The Job
Important Note: This is not a media buying or generic ad ops role. We are specifically looking for someone with strong hands-on experience managing and optimising XML-based CPC (cost-per-click) ad feeds. This includes working with exchange-level integrations, configuring endpoints, monitoring feed health and traffic flow, and identifying revenue opportunities through performance tuning. Experience in arbitrage models, OpenRTB, or SSP/DSP technical troubleshooting is essential.
You
2+ years' hands-on experience working at the ad exchange level (e.g. AdKernel, AdMaven, PropellerAds, or similar)
Strong technical understanding of OpenRTB and XML integrations
Confident configuring endpoints, investigating traffic paths, and optimising feed delivery for performance
Analytical mindset with working knowledge of Excel and performance metrics (CTR, eCPM, CPC)
Comfortable communicating with partners in a clear, text-based environment (Slack, Teams, etc.)
Self-sufficient, collaborative, and able to work remotely in a fast-paced environment
Nice to Have
Exposure to arbitrage or feed-based monetisation models
Experience onboarding new SSP/DSP partners
Ability to contribute to light-touch business development or partner outreach (not required)
