Overview

The Programmatic Manager is responsible for all aspects of programmatic campaign implementation and will line manage a small team of Programmatic Executives and Senior Executives. The Programmatic Manager will report to the Programmatic Account Director.

Responsibilities

  1. Media planning excellence - Developing media plans that deliver on the client KPIs and that also deliver the best commercial outcomes for Publicis Media. Always ensuring that all calculations are correct. Seeking opportunities to showcase innovative approaches and proven campaign strategies to all relevant stakeholders.
  2. Test and learn - Creating test and learn roadmaps with a focus on robust test designs, hypotheses, and measurement. Bringing innovation to programmatic media plans & embracing a test & learn culture across emerging solutions in market (cookieless, retail media data, SVOD platforms).
  3. Operational excellence - Driving brilliant basics across the team, continuously working to deliver operational efficiencies through automation and smart thinking. Organizing workflow proactively and implementing a process-driven approach for full end-to-end campaign implementation. Working with internal teams to manage finance queries and PO tracking, ensuring the use of QA technology to mitigate errors.
  4. PCAs - Showcasing campaign performance across leading DSPs such as DV360, The Trade Desk & Amazon by providing in-depth analysis that demonstrates results and key learnings to inform future campaign decisions.
  5. Awards - Identifying market-leading work delivered by your team, proactively tracking upcoming award opportunities, and drafting submissions to position the team for recognition.
  6. Client contact via weekly calls - Building strong, trusted relationships with clients by demonstrating a deep understanding of their business. Using meetings to showcase campaign results and identify new opportunities to drive business value.
  7. Team management - Managing a small team of Executives and Senior Executives, responsible for their learning, development, and performance, with clear communication and delegation.

Qualifications

  • Accurately selecting key metrics and dimensions related to the client's business and success measures to report outcomes.
  • Inquisitive about data and capable of delivering actionable insights.
  • Identifying data limitations and generating creative, solution-driven strategies for data usage.
  • High attention to detail in quality assurance and due diligence for work and team outputs.
  • Using appropriate technology (proprietary and industry solutions) to solve business challenges.
  • Using technology to increase efficiency, testing new tools, and championing their use within the team.
  • Confidently presenting benefits of Publicis proprietary solutions like Epsilon, APEX, and T&I products.
  • Collaborating across channels and engaging colleagues as needed.
  • Seeking opportunities to utilize skills outside core expectations.
  • Approaching change with a growth mindset.
  • Ensuring equitable and supportive working conditions for teammates with diverse needs, working with the Talent team.
