The salary range for this position is CAD $28.80/Hr. - CAD $30.53/Hr.
What You Will Do
Reporting to the Program Leader or designate, the Program Support Assistant is responsible for providing a variety of administrative, clerical, and other related duties in the operation of the Clinic. Duties include screening and prioritizing incoming correspondence, maintaining appointment calendars, booking client appointments, handling reception, inputting client information, maintaining databases, assisting with administrative policies, coordinating building maintenance, ordering supplies, and managing records and timekeeping.
Education: Grade 12, supplemented with relevant computer courses, medical office assistant course, and three years' recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Skills and Abilities: Proficiency with computers, ability to learn new systems, excellent word processing and spreadsheet skills, typing 40 wpm, business writing, medical terminology knowledge, office and clinic management principles, effective communication, confidentiality, problem-solving, organization, teamwork, operation of office equipment, and physical ability to perform duties.
Salary: $28.80 - $30.53 per hour, depending on experience.
