APEX NOC (Network Operation Center) is the central command and control center for ‘Transportation Execution’ across Amazon's transportation network. It ensures hassle-free, timely pick-up and delivery of freight from vendors to Amazon fulfillment centers (FC) and from FCs to carrier hubs. In case of exceptions, NOC intervenes to resolve issues and keeps stakeholders informed. NOC also analyzes network data to identify trends and automate or improve processes, playing a critical role in Amazon’s transportation efficiency.

Responsibilities of Program Manager - Relay Ops/NOC

We seek an experienced Program Manager to coordinate efforts across operations, technology, and program teams. The candidate should be a hands-on, motivated self-starter passionate about using data to measure, optimize, and influence business decisions.

The ideal candidate will have deep functional knowledge, experience designing program frameworks, and running defect reduction initiatives. Proficiency in identifying key metrics, analyzing historical data, challenging the status quo, and making strategic recommendations is essential. The role involves improving reporting tools and processes to enhance data accessibility and granularity for stakeholders.

Strong analytical skills, expertise in Excel, and knowledge of SQL, R, or Python are required. Experience working with large datasets, excellent communication skills, and the ability to simplify complex analytical results are critical. The candidate should be adept at project management, influencing without authority, and working independently in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to travel 30% of the time and proficiency in English are mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

3. Develop plans, timelines, and roadmaps for project execution and measure progress through defined metrics.
4. Coordinate across functions to resolve issues and facilitate project progress.
5. Work with technology teams to scope and implement necessary system changes.
