Our vision is “To be the world’s most internal and external customer centric Centralized Operations and BI-tech partner for Field Operations.” We aim to achieve this through our mission - “Save Cost and Improve Reliability, through Technology and Operations Solutions for 1) Visibility and Performance management 2) Short term capacity optimization 3) Centralized operations and exception management for our internal customers.” Within ROW NOC, ROW AMZL Central Operations (CO) focuses on improving reliability, cost-to-serve, and operator experience through standardization, automation, and governance via centralized initiatives. AMZL CO manages standard work across Jurisdiction Planning, OTR Capacity Planning, execution (Scheduling and Routing), and Channel Support (DSP Payments, Hub delivery support, etc.).

This Program Manager I role leads program and operations across Central Capacity planning, Scheduling, Routing, and Channel Support, influencing multiple senior leaders and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

We seek an experienced Manager to coordinate operations and program teams. The ideal candidate is a hands-on, motivated self-starter passionate about data-driven decision-making. The manager will lead a team of program and operations managers and associates, working with stakeholders from multiple teams to support last mile operations and improve program performance.

The role may require working in different shift structures (e.g., 4 PM to 2 AM or 1 PM to 10 PM) to serve multiple ROW geos. The manager will evolve processes to handle increasing network complexities, collaborating with configuration and design teams. They will also improve reporting tools and processes to enhance data availability and granularity for internal and external partners.

The manager will oversee planning and execution of team goals, measure goal attainment, and implement improvements to increase operational effectiveness. Strong analytical skills, proficiency in Excel, excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills are essential. The candidate should be detail-oriented, a clear communicator, and an advocate for the operations team.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • 2+ years of program or project management experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Knowledge of Lean principles and DMAIC methodology
  • Experience in MS Access and SQL
  • Experience in requirement gathering and documentation
