Job Description:
About the Team: The Early Careers team is essential in shaping TikTok’s future talent pipeline by engaging with universities and managing early-career programs across 15+ countries in the Americas and EMEA. The team ensures that interns, working students, apprentices, and graduate hires have meaningful experiences while contributing to TikTok’s expanding business. As a dynamic global group, the team collaborates across diverse cultures, teams, countries, and time zones. This role offers candidates the opportunity to work alongside colleagues worldwide, providing a rich international experience.
Role Overview: This role blends university relation management and intern program execution, ensuring we attract top talent and provide a high-quality experience for those joining our early careers programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- University Engagement & Early Talent Outreach
- Manage EMEA university partnerships by driving outreach to career centers, student groups, and faculty, especially in London and Paris (sales, marketing, MBA, and Dubai for both business and technical roles).
- Coordinate engagements such as career fairs, information sessions, and networking events to engage students and increase TikTok’s employer brand visibility.
- Assist with event logistics and communications, including invitations, event materials, and follow-ups.
- Provide data tracking and reporting to measure outreach effectiveness.
- Support select AMS university engagements on a project basis by sharing insights, helping organize cross-regional events, and leading on-site activities.
- Support early talent identification efforts across EMEA and AMS to ensure a strong pipeline of high-potential students for hiring.
- Intern Program Coordination
- Support the execution of the EMEA intern program plan, ensuring smooth onboarding, engagement, and offboarding across multiple countries.
- Assist in managing EMEA program logistics, including tracking intern headcount, start dates, and key milestones to ensure a seamless experience.
- Coordinate intern event logistics, including booking venues, managing catering orders, handling reimbursements, and ensuring smooth execution of intern sessions.
- Provide operational support for global intern engagement initiatives, including tracking attendance, collecting feedback, and maintaining program records.
- Assist in managing intern program communications, ensuring interns receive timely updates about events, policies, and engagement opportunities.
- Additional Support
- Act as a secondary point of contact for select AMS internship initiatives, such as intern learning & development programs, engagement sessions, or mentorship programs.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or related field; 2 years of experience in program coordination, campus recruitment, and university relations in EMEA.
- Experience working on projects involving cross-regional collaboration, particularly between AMS and EMEA.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently while collaborating within a global team; interest in early careers university engagements and talent development.
- Familiarity with internship structures and hiring processes in EMEA markets, especially London, France, or Dubai.
- Comfortable working with data, tracking program metrics, and providing insights to improve outreach and engagement.
- Ability to travel occasionally within the UK, Europe, and the Middle East; ability to meet during a globally friendly timezone.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3-4 years of experience in university relations, campus recruitment, or early talent programs in the EMEA region, demonstrating understanding of regional nuances.
- Experience working across both AMS and EMEA regions, with knowledge of labor laws and internship regulations.
- Experience organizing large-scale events, ensuring seamless logistics and successful execution.
- Ability to manage relationships across functions, including university career centers, student groups, and internal stakeholders.
- Experience with data analytics and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, LinkedIn Recruiter).
- Content creation and management skills for outreach, event promotions, and internal communications.
- Strong communication skills, with experience presenting to large audiences and engaging international groups effectively.
